I worked in the beer industry for 5 years and have had most styles of beers and all of the big trendy beers throughout the years, as well as all of the big Belgian beers and all that shit. I chased the LE EPIC STOUT trends, the old IPAs, the New England IPAs, the sour beer craze.... I drank what was hot and in demand for years.
Having said this, I don't drink beer that much anymore, and I lost a taste for a lot of it.
There are two styles I still love, and to me that means they are the actual apex of beer.
