I think I might be slowly stopping being an alcohol. Most of the thirst is gone for some reason and doesn't seem to be returning. Getting older sucks in a lot of ways but not having the energy or desire to start guzzling beer at noon isn't one of them.

My random drinking is usually food or travel inspired. I might recollect going to the Buda wine festival and then get inspired to make some delicious homemade meal from recipes I enjoyed on my travel, and seek out buying a bottle of tokaji. It might go like this instead, I'll be at the store and see some mussels for sale, and then, hrmmm, and I'll pick up some chorizo, crusty bread, some salad fixins, some delicious cheeses and olives, and maybe some chocolate to make a nice torte....and then I might buy some bottles of porto or tawny port, or some rioja and fruit, for some sangria moods. Food pairing with adventures in cooking favorite recipes, is how to drink, not slamming down vodka. Geesh, stop being boring and unhealthy.
