Well, they diluted the original one for years. The bold is probably similar to the original one made with Jamaican ginger.

How come when I add ginger powder to coca cola or any other carbonated beverage it starts to fizz up hard? Would the same happen if I juiced some ginger and dropped in there? Not sure if I tried adding ginger powder to seltzer water yet, maybe I'll go try right now. I want to use it because I sometimes get all farty and gassy and ginger ale knocks out gas.

Dont use dry ginger powder. Make ginger syrup and mix with club soda.
