Picky eater/muslim here. How do you guys eat this stuff?

I mean Ive had pork belly when I went through an irreligious phase at college and that tasted alright. But to me, pig snout/face is a high risk thing to eat considering the atrocious diet of the average Piggy. Also, is pig snot still in there? How do you clean piggy when you wanna eat those parts?

Not OP here, but I've eaten almost every part of the pig. Snout is the worst part for eating, it's only enjoyable when ground into sausage with lots of salt and spices. It can also be used for making pork stock, but it's inferior to ears, hocks, and trotters. If you eat the snout after making stock it has an unpleasant booger-like consistency; the hairs that never seem to be 100% removed and the interior of the nostrils even simulate booger hair. Slow cook it for stock then feed it to your dog IMO.

Eastern european guy here, when pig is slaughtered we burn the skin till black with torches then scrub and wash it, snout included.
Most people hire a butcher nowadays and heads gets split in half bones and all then threw into boiling water. There ends up majority of unserible cuts which are cooked till they are falling of bone, this meat is processed next - we usually mix it with ground pig skin and make tlačenka.
Also, don't let anyone bullshit you into clean and dirty animals, pigs are as clean as you keep them, if you are slob who let's them live in their filth they will be filthy. It is the same type of propaganda that is pushing you to eat bugs.
