You're retarded, why wouldn't water be the first ingredient? Here's a simple marinara sauce that is more than likely very close to what they used.
>1tbsp olive oil
>1clove garlic, minced1
>(6 oz) can tomato paste
>1 1/2cups water (12 oz)
>1tsp Italian seasoning
>Salt and pepper, to taste
>Pinch of sugar
Now, you tell me what ingredient is used the most in this recipe, mongoloid.
>inb4 autistic
If you think following a recipe is autistic you probably shouldn't be here, go start a Wendy's thread instead of deflecting your embarrassment of being proven to be an idiot onto others by saying they're seething and autistic.

>why wouldn't water be the first ingredient?
I guess for an ultra processed food product, water is always the first ingredient, but for ACTUAL marinara sauce the first ingredient is TOMATO, fresh of course.

Marinara also needs anchovies to make it a marinara, whose name roughly translates to something like “from the sea”

Americans just use names incorrectly, so it’s not surprising that they call thinned out tomato paste with spices, marinara.

That concentrating and reconstituting a plant product makes more sense than transporting it with all the water still in it. Canned tomato products taste better than 90% of fresh tomatoes outside of the summer.

>> No.15731547

That's the entire topic, retard. The second ingredient is tomato paste, which is tomato puree that has had the water cooked out of it. You cook out the water, transport it in more compact way, then add the water back in. Hell, a lot of people make tomato sauce out of tomato paste in their own homes, and guess what, it comes out fine.
