What's even the point of spaghetti when you have macaroni or penne? Spaghetti is cumbersome to cook (need a huge pot to fit) and it is cumbersome to eat. What's the deal with spaghetti. Am I missing something?

No, you're on the right track. Spaghetti is somehow the most iconic pasta, despite being the most useless form of it. Different shapes for different sauces, right? Then how is spaghetti the most popular pasta, when literally every other form of pasta is better at something than spaghetti is? Spaghetti is the unskilled day labor of the pasta world. If spaghetti was a professional wrestler, it would be the job guy that doesn't get ring music.
Fuck spaghetti.

>penne
Absolutely horrible texture
>macaroni
pretty good. but somehow spaghetti tastes better. must be the texture the reason too.

Wrong again

How's it feel to be an unskilled, unemployed retard that can't hang out in a bar or pick up women? I work with an autistic guy in my dishpit that can at least have an interesting conversation about Star Trek and has better taste in burgers, tacos, and chicken wings than you do. You're the precise kind of faggot that whines about delicious slivered almonds on a hot fudge sundae.

The taste is different. I'm no expert, but I think the sauce/pasta ratio is key. Spaghetti Napoli tastes best with spaghetti. (Who would have guessed?)

Italians know fuck-all about pasta. They buy sports cars from a tractor manufacturer. What do you expect them to know?

>>15721910
I expect them to know at least that cars aren't pasta. And car manufacturing is not cooking.

Six of one, half-a-dozen of another.

yes, basic ambulatory function

Those are the same. Car manufacturing and cooking aren't the same. Also, sayings aren't arguments. Try to make your own argument with reasoning and not parrot stupid shit from history.

i enjoy the texture of stranded pasta a lot better with tomato sauce than tubular extrusions, and holy fuck i hate penne, ziti and the like

agreed. some people are so stuck up that they're unable to enjoy slurping some spaghetti, baka.
