egg just tastes gross to me. and it has a really distinctive taste too. even in something that uses egg as just one of many ingredients the egg taste is prominent to me and it doesn't taste good.
its like burnt newspaper or something. it doesnt even have much of a taste its like the feeling of something that is really prominent but its got no actual taste other than a vague bitterness.

The truth is, we still know very little about what foods are 'good' or 'bad' for you. We know certain nutrients are essential, but not much else.

That's how stupid and enslaved people are now. Humans ate eggs for 150,000 years at least. Capitalist ad campaign tells them they are bad and they must intsead eat refined sugars and boxes of cereal to be healthy.

Hell, I believe monkeys have been observed deliberately leaving bird nests alone so they can steal eggs here-and-there. First shades of agriculture.

Oh look, it's another guy that doesn't understand how infant mortality lowered average lifespan in pre-modern times. If you made it past four or five years old, you could expect to live fifty or sixty years or so, if you didn't get shanked fighting wars for Lord Earl of Dogfartshire, Engalond in One-double-aught-three.

Infant mortality, infectious diseases, and external injuries. Take those away and ancient humans lived 70-80 years. Good nutrition they had. Eggs they ate. I think this is the longest amount of time humans have gone without some kind of technology-crushing cataclysmic environmental event.

>> No.15718886

>>15718839
yes, kids die like crazy. human life expectancy is the average across all humans, including kids & babies, they bring the average down for everyone down

>The combination of high infant mortality and deaths in young adulthood from accidents, epidemics, plagues, wars, and childbirth, particularly before modern medicine was widely available, significantly lowers LEB. For example, a society with a LEB of 40 may have few people dying at precisely 40: most will die before 30 or after 55. In populations with high infant mortality rates, LEB is highly sensitive to the rate of death in the first few years of life. Because of this sensitivity to infant mortality, LEB can be subjected to gross misinterpretation, leading one to believe that a population with a low LEB will necessarily have a small proportion of older people
>Until the middle of the 20th century, infant mortality was approximately 40–60% of the total mortality of the population. If we do not take into account child mortality in total mortality, then the average life expectancy in the 12–19 centuries was approximately 55 years. If a medieval person was able to survive childhood, then he had about a 50% chance of living up to 50–55 years. That is, in reality, people did not die when they lived to be 25–40 years old, but continued to live about twice as long.
