Did this Saggitarius British chad made Gordon Ramsey into a ragging asshole that he is right now?

>> No.15701643

>In the mid-1980s, he worked as a commis chef at the Wroxton House Hotel
>He ran the kitchen and 60-seat dining room at the Wickham Arms, until his sexual relationship with the owner's wife made the situation difficult.
>Ramsay then moved to London, where he worked in a series of restaurants until being inspired to work for the temperamental Marco Pierre White at Harveys.
>Ramsay, tired of "the rages and the bullying and violence", decided that the way to further advance his career was to study French cuisine.
>White discouraged Ramsay from taking a job in Paris, instead encouraging him to work for Albert Roux at Le Gavroche in Mayfair, where he met Jean-Claude Breton, later his maître d'hôtel at Restaurant Gordon Ramsay.
>After working at Le Gavroche for a year, Albert Roux invited Ramsay to work with him at Hotel Diva, a ski resort in the French Alps, as his number two.
>23-year-old Ramsay moved to Paris to work with Guy Savoy and Joël Robuchon, both Michelin-starred chefs.
>Gordon Ramsay stated that Guy Savoy was his mentor
>He continued his training in France for three years, before giving in to the physical and mental stress of the kitchens and taking a year to work as a personal chef on the private yacht Idlewild, based in Bermuda
>The role on the boat saw him travel to Sicily and Sardinia, Italy, and learn about Italian cuisine.
>In 1998, Ramsay opened his own restaurant in Chelsea, Restaurant Gordon Ramsay
>The restaurant gained its third Michelin star in 2001, making Ramsay the first Scot to achieve that feat

I need a kino Ramsay movie right bloody now!

cooking shots are hard to shoot but they can be so easily kino, too bad more often than not cooking movies are about romances or some other dumb shit instead of the intensity and drama of the kitchen

This is false and his british version of Kitchen Nightmares is proof. American TV just hams up the shitty music and camera cuts.

I wasn't trying to draw a sort of difference between the US and UK versions although people do that alot, I should've just said 'hes playing a character for TV'. That type of attitude in a kitchen is so played out and oldschool, none of the chefs I have worked with have been anything less than humble, gentle men that were passionate about food. A few burnouts, but none of them were bitter and angry to the point of lashing out.

I recall a scene from his book in which some cunt throws a brick through a window of his restaurant. He apparently turned to Ramsay and said "Gordon, after him!" Then the chef fires up a cigarette, and casually follows Gordon out back, where Ramsay has the kid against a wall, beating him raw.

I hated being a Chef.

I feel bad for Marco. Sometimes he makes faces and tones while using the stock pots that you can just tell is killing him a little bit on the inside every time. I swear I watched a recipe recently where he used like 4 or 5 and I think he was just being facetious at that point
