I par boil them in salted water before throwing them in the oven, 25 minutes on one side, 10 minutes on the other. They come out perfect everytime

I'm sure you're soooo busy with things that you can't wait for an oven baked potato to be cooked.

you can't fool me. i'll nuke potatoes if i'm not using the skin or if i'm in a hurry, but if i've got any intention of eating the skin, which i usually do, it's not that much trouble to turn the oven on set and a timer and forget about it.

Oven potatoes taste better I imagine. Never had microwaved tater because I’ve never had a microwave.

Couldn't you finish a microwave tater in a toaster oven with foil for crispy crust or no?

>> No.15699105

I normally 'meal prep' a whole batch by boiling for 15 mins, then throw them in the oven for 10 mins to crisp up when I'm ready to eat.

Or throw it into an airfryer and get inbetween benefits. Less energy use and less time than an oven and don't have to deal with wrapping the tater in saran wrap, just a bit of oil and seasoning, you're good.

Frying requires oil
Airfrying involves no oil
Airfrying is not frying
You're all idiots
