I actually love Pizza Hut, the pizza at least. But every time I walk into my local Pizza Hut I feel like I'm gonna get stabbed and beheaded by either the employees or some homeless dude outside of the store. I’ve literally never had an online order made incorrectly, or magically “lost”. Because they literally get printed instructions, and I get automated confirmation.
A phone order is dependent on someone who doesn’t want to talk to you, and likely doesn’t speak your language natively, interpreting what you say and typing it in.

they are actually annoying unavoidable because they can be put in seconds before the store closes
and at the one i worked at at least, if no one in the store picks up the phone then your call gets sent to a call center where some other wagie will put it in

I live in small town america so I called and asked them to grab a pack of smokes for me since the gas station was 2 stores down the road from the hut. and I'm not stingy with the tips.
they wouldn't and that's not a big deal. but when the delivery came he didn't bring my wings. and then asked for me to pay. I told him I'm not giving him money until I get my whole order.
I was surprised to see him come back 20 minutes later. he didn't get a tip though
