Can /ck/ recommend me some decent dishes that don't require too much preparation and dish washing?
Due to work related reasons I'm currently and will be stuck for the next few months in a pretty bare bones apartment without a dishwasher, while working awfully long hours and I can't stand frozen foods anymore.

I'm pretty tired most of the time and anything even remotely messy becomes a hassle if your sink is not even two gallons of worth of space and you got a laughably tiny and slow electric boiler under the sink.

Crock pot liners.
Foil baking pans.

Only you can decide if a 50 cent disposable pan is a better deal than washing a dish.

Foil packet dinners are minimal prep, and almost zero dishes.

If it's a whole duck, just butcher it yoursefl, it take only a fee minutes. You can then trow the legs in the oven like chicken and cook the breast on the stove like a steak. Duck is a red meat, don't worry if it stay a bit pink. I personally prefer my breast quite rare but you do you.

Electric Water Kettle
Instant Ramen Cups
The boiled water works a lot better than the microwave.

Well seasoned carbon steel can be pretty easy to clean, just deglaze after cooking your main dish. Then as soon as your done cooking wipe it out. Even if it's not perfectly clean it's probably good enough.

Cornflakes and water. Cheap and the dishes only require a 3 second rinse.

>> No.15688226

put ramen into pot
add vegetables of choice (frozen works best for me because I'm lazy)
add egg(s)
add seasoning packet

everything cooks in like five minutes and you only have to stir it once or twice, and when you're finished you only have to wash one pot.

Crockette and soup. Single bowl for eating. Two large bowls for storing. Cut up fresh veggies, put in store bought rosted chicken. Canned soup base.

Also salads, cut up tons of veggies and an apple, toss in large bowl with dessing.

Perpetual stew. Just keep adding food and liquid to your pot, and don't bother cleaning it. When you get out of the shitty apartment throw away the pot.

Pasta with tuna and vegetables.

Boil a pot of water, cook pasta. During, cook frozen vegetables in microwave. Open cans of tuna, drain from can. Drain pasta, keeping small amount of water. Add jar of pesto or whatever, use pasta water to wash out rest of sauce. Add tuna, but break up with spoon when digging it out of the can. Add vegetables. Stir it all together.

You should only end up using a pot, microwave dish, and serving spoon.
