Yes, there is nothing wrong with it. But it is highly unethical, borderline criminal I would say, to buy that garbage for your kids to eat.

I mean it's ultimately the parents fault for buying it for them. My friend lives in germany and if he wanted sweets for breakfast as a kid his dad would give him a bowl of fisherman's eggs and take away his bed

It's unethical to advertise anything to children. It does nothing but put the issue on parents to purchase what the child wants. Of course if the item in question isn't healthy for the child, or if it's a toy or something they don't need, it's on the parents to say no and teach the child that value of money, to not be materialistic, etc. On the other hand, children are shitheads and a parent saying no can fuck with children and breed resentment which can cause other issues, but that's a different topic and I'm not a psychologist.
