Have you guys ever had a butterbutger before? If so, how was it?

>> No.15639034

I worked as a cook at culver's all through high school and would still recommend

>> No.15639050

My heart is begging me to not eat something like that. EVER.

Then again, I don't think burgers or ground beef should be cooked with butter unless the latter is being used to cook a ragu with to help emulsify the sauce.

If you're making a burger, use lard or tallow.

Yes, probably more regularly than I should, there's a culvers 2 minutes from my office and it's the go to on days I forget to bring lunch.

It's a fucking burger. The meat has all the fat in it you need.

Culver's isn't even a real butter burger, but I bet it's better than any burger you could make.

They smear butter on the bun.
Pretty sure the meats are cooked on a flat top in their own juices.
The butter melts on the burger, becoming a sauce.

As far as butter burgers go, Culver's is pretty light on the butter.

Everyone agrees American cheese is the best cheese for a burger because of how it melts and gets gooier than non-processed cheese. Only faggots would disagree with that, not people who know anything about food.

Bro, some of the best restaurants in the world refuse to use any other cheese. Who cares if it isn't some aged cheddar, it has a distinct taste and melts better than anything. Consider killing yourself before you make another "original" pretentious comment in life or on the internet (you're boring and you add nothing)

It's probably fine to have butter on the bun.

Adding 3 beef patties, cheese, and a tasty assortment of deep fried cheese, deep fried onions, and cheese wrapped in deep fried peppers twice a day, 4 days a week is likely going to catch up with you.

But the butter really is an important part of this complete breakfast.
Unless you're smearing half a stick on.

Take the whole pound of ground beef and put it into the pan after it has been heated to high with some butter. Sear each side for 1:30. Eat and dip into left butter. Superhealthy.
