i compromised and got some walmart ones, turns out those frozen el monterey taquitos are actually made by the same company (ruiz foods) but if you want the gas station ones you have to order online. they're basically the same but slightly thinner, i'm indeed going to try pan frying them out of the microwave to be a little more crispy

No not really the liquid is going to fill the gaps that the peanuts cant/don’t take up you could fit more liquid with less or no peanuts but not really the other way around. If you filled it full of liquid first and then put peanuts in they would displace the liquid (spill it) and fall in as they would normally and you’d fit roughly the same amount

Pic is a close second but the price has been rising for quite some time so I don't buy it as often. When a bigass bag was like $8 it was a killer deal, less so at $15.

Whereas gas station food is a true friend; it isn’t trying to pretend it’s anything other than what it is. It’s honest. You’re paying $1.50 for a hotdog with unlimited toppings. It’s not acting like it’s some locally sourced sustainable hotdog made by a lesbian farming cooperative.

Anything on the rollers at QT is wonderful. Their buffalo chicken logs are heart clogging but so satisfying. their hot dogs with a steamed bun loaded with sports peppers is pretty good too.
