Vitamin B12 says hello. I hope you're supplementing. Also, there have been studies that show that vegan women's breastmilk is nutritionally lacking compared to normal women. As for the moral issue of meat consumption, consider the following:
-humans have canine teeth for tearing meat
-the animals we slaughter for meat are raised and cared for by human farmers for the express purpose of consumption, and in exchange receive protection from the elements/natural predators which would kill them anyway
-Christ ate meat (lamb)
I don't see why, as a Christian, you would find eating meat objectionable. If the problem is with the conditions in which livestock is raised, then I encourage you to support more humane, local producers (ex. free range eggs).

See above. Also, I seriously doubt most vegans are not eating leafy greens, beans, nuts, tofu etc that would be necessary to replace nutrition from meat and dairy every day, and even if they were, they would still probably need to take nutritional supplements. It's just unnecessary and inconvenient in my eyes. The days of fasting mandated by the Church are not meant to be a moral judgement on meat consumption, they are meant to be a sacrifice in reverence to the suffering of Christ/the saints.

The modern Church is fine with this, yes. I'm just being extra tryhard this year for fun because, historically, this is how the early and medieval Church mandated days of fasting. No meat, no dairy, no eggs. Early Christians were not organized by any kind of central authority, which is why there was so many batshit insane sects of early Christianity. Been a while since I studied them, so I forget the specifics, but suffice to say there's a reason it was deemed necessary to have a central, governing body of the Church. Just fast, buddy. Fasting involves not eating and it's that simple. On Fridays I try to have either 1 meal, and no snacking or anything, or nothing to eat at all.

Then throughout the rest of the week I simply refrain from eating in-between meals.

Don't over think it all and remember, Sunday is a holiday. You shouldn't be fasting on Sundays. Lent is 40 days not counting them.

dude buddy I am here for you. Currently doing a modified Daniel fast after coming of a Serious Daniel Fast.

You're going to want to get yourself a lot of mushrooms and some black beans- whole or refried.
Mexican themed idea: Sautee them up in a pan with a bit of onion and garlic, add salt, cumin, chipotle if you like. Serve in tortillas or if you're seriously daniel fasting you can eat them in ice berg lettuce leaves with added diced onions, avocados tomatoes and cilantro, squeeze of lime.

Asian themed idea: Steam up broccoli in one pot, add spices like garlic and onion. In another pot, throw in some green beans, add some chilis, onion powder, pepper, grated ginger, drizzle over a tiny bit of sesame oil. I ate this with black bean pasta when seriously Danieling. The macros on the black bean pasta were good 39g broton for 280cals. But you could serve this with udon or shanghai or chow mein noodles too.

Third option: replace the meat inside of stuffed things with mushrooms and well seasoned vegetables. You can sautee up some riced cauliflower with mushrooms and onions, stuff some peppers, tomatoes or roll up inside cabbage leaves and bake.

Also if you like sweet things I have succumbed to the s oy master and given into milk alternatives. Unsweetned vanilla almond milk is 30 cals /glass so it's amazing for cutting. Makes a surprisingly delicious addition to fruit and ice for a dairy smoothie. And finally, sadly, I have to admit I really enjoy silken tofu. Mixed with some stevia and cacao powder and a banana it is a delicious pudding dessert and it when you put it into smoothies it gives it a really great thick consistency.
