It's just way too hot. I tried it and I almost died. I put it back in the pot and rinsed it with hot water, but it was still too ducking hot. So I rinsed it one more time, but even then it was too spicy. I had to trash it. What sucks is I bought 5 of them. Is the hotness in the oil pack or the seed pack? Here's what you do anon, make the noodles like normal, when you get to the step where it tells you to add the sauce and some water to the pot and stir fry for 30 seconds, add a little milk instead of water. Boil the noodles in the milk then add the sauce when it's bubbling and mix until it's turns into a nice thicc pale orange sauce. Still has a kick to it but it's real tasty and the sauce is a little easier to handle.

That said 2x is pretty great with egg poached in the water then butter and mushrooms browned in a separate pan then add the cooked noodles to the pan with the sauce pack and mix it then put the egg on top.
I think the butter gets rid of the weird flavour that 2x has.

the pic that anon posted is one recommendation, Luosifen, which is "snail noodles". despite the name, it only uses tiny sea snails in the broth which is also boiled with pork meat/bones too.
