It’s just not all that great. The chicken has really good crispy breading I like it a lot, but the chicken itself is usually dry as shit because black people over cook everything on purpose. The biscuit isn’t anything special, it’s a fast food biscuit that every other chicken joint has something similar too. The rest of the sides are just meh as fuck. KFC is very slightly better. Lee’s famous recipe is leagues better in every aspect.

the two locations near me are entirely staffed by black people, and they both have the slowest service (literally) that i have ever seen in a fast food restaurant. i had to wait 30 minutes for a combo once with only three other cars in line. when i pulled up one employee was on their phone and two employees were talking to friends in the lobby. these are not isolated incidents

It's usually staffed by nothing but niggers--rude, slow, greasy ones at that. I'm going to be honest: I've only eaten the chicken sandwich, it's ok. If it isn't fresh and eaten in the restaurant then the grease kind of congeals and gives the sandwich a bland taste and a greasy/filmy mouth feel. It's definitely not worth going to, but the price for the sandwich is pretty good.

I have routinely been disappointed to find Popeye's tends to be staffed by people I do not like. I have also found that most of the customers are people I do not like. Because of this unfortunate (for me) situation, I do not patronize Popeyes Chicken establishments. Even if the food is prepared properly and 100% to spec. it's now usually a toxic, lab created nightmare that will set up even the heartiest constitutions for massive damage down the line.

What Popeye's passes off as "spicy" chicken today is what they used to offer as their mild chicken 20 years ago. Their mild today is no different than the crap at KFC.
