That there is your problem. NY Style Cream cheese cake is fucking rancid disgusting awful garbage. I live in NY, it's not good no matter where you go.
Italian style cheesecake is FAR superior. It's rich, it's got the right sweetness, it pairs beautifully with coffee/espresso. Everything about it is basically perfect.
