All the ones I have tried in the store are too oily, or too bland, or too sweet, etc. So I want to make my own.

I can tell you've never made it before because you forgot the apple cider vinegar at the very least.

>> No.15556374

I do 1/3 honey, 1/3 hot Dijon mustard, and 1/3 home made mayo. Then lots of dry dill

Mayo works if you want to soften the taste.

>> No.15557051

Start off with equal parts mayo and dijon mustard, then go on from there. Put in a smaller amount of honey/syrup. Taste it all. If you want it to be sweeter, put more honey. If you want more mustard taste put in more mustard. If you want the consistency to be a little thicker or fattier put in more mayo.

This is what I always do

Just break down and go get your faggot syrup at McDonalds. You have to buy the mcNuggets, and they give you several little tubs of the stuff. Throw the Mcnuggets away, keep the little tubs.

Mayo is used in a lot of dressings, but you could just use plain oil if you don't mind it being a little thinner.

Shouldn't share this but here's my favorite honey mustard dill dressing.

1 cup olive oil (can use neutral oil instead)
1 cup fresh dill finely chopped
3 TBS Dijon Mustard (to taste)
3 TBS Honey (to taste)
2-3 TBS White Wine Vinegar (to taste)
Salt to taste
