What will be the first sit down restaurant you go to after this pandemic is over?

For me it's maggianos.

Probably a Chinese buffet. I get takeout now, but most places you only get 1 or 2 entrees and rice, maybe an appetizer, if you order the combo dinner, and lots of them ask you to only order it for 2+ people. I like to go in to a buffet and get a little spoonful of a bunch of stuff and grab a cone of soft serve on my way out.

Just spent 2 weeks on work travel and every dinner was paid for at sit down restaurants. I racked up over $500

My favorite restaurant of all time closed down during this pandemic unfortunately. It was a super small, cozy bbq joint with really nice upscale decor and drinks. The waiters were cool as fuck and the waitresses were super cute and nice, and they all actually did their job well without being overbearing unlike most places. This place was so fucking good it literally made me decide to move to the city it was in. The restaurant was quite successful pre-Covid but it was located in an upscale area that I imagine charged a metric fuckton for rent and they probably had no way of making that up with their business cut into fractions. I've ordered take out from a lot of restaurants in the area that I like, but that restaurant was probably the only one I legitimately miss sitting in. Some of my favorite memories of all time were in that restaurant. My anger and sorrow are without end.

condolences, if you can track down the owner you can see if they open another restaurant in the future

My wife and I have had a tradition of getting breakfast on the weekend, every weekend since our first night together, for the 8 years we've been together. Our favorite breakfast place closed down for good during the summer. I don't know where we'll go, but it will probably be for breakfast on a Saturday.

What are you talking about? The lockdown was back in like April/May Everything is back open. I was at a china buffet last week. Had to wear a little glove thing but there was no mask requirement. I think you just live in a shitty liberal managed state. I mean, come the fuck on that was over half a year ago and your still bitching? Things are back to normal.

I’m confused, are restaurants in your area still closed for dine in? I’ve eaten in many places since the virus hit, even went to a Brazilian steakhouse where they still walk the meat from table to table.

I live in northern virginia and everything opened up after the first lockdown back in like june and things have been pretty much normal ever since besides having to wear a mask everywhere
its pretty nice and i reckon its like that here instead of being a prison like everywhere else cause i live where politicians and government workers live and they wanna enjoy living their life while making everyone else suffer under their fake pandemic lockdowns, its kinda like living in north korea in kim jong-un's palace while everyone else starves
