Cold American style deli ham on a white bread roll?

A mild, medium hardness cheese like American, provolone, gouda, or havarti. Emmental, gruyere, or swiss cheese if you want a little more flavor. Mild cheddar works too but is not my favorite pairing. I find mayonnaise not quite right for ham - but a little mild oil like non-extra virgin olive oil or avovado oil is nice. I like iceberg lettuce and pickles with ham
