Got one of these bad boys in the oven, when it's done, how should I spice it up? What could I add to improve the experience?

Nothing, the experience is complete.

use a spoon to make a small hole in the top, add a tablespoon of real butter.

Turkey pot pie only exist so people feel don't feel guilty for throwing away Thanksgiving leftovers. You're not supposed to eat them by choice.

Going to add butter sounds good, but can I use bacon grease I have saved for extra POW?

It also exists for the patient stoner
Also since I cut down on drinking I've been eating more, which is annoying but hey, beats drinking. Feels good to be able to not drink every day in a row for 3 years. I'm on day 4! :)

You can use bacon grease if you like. Most factory food is loaded with carbs, missing the fats found in the original recipes. That pot pie is already quite bad for your health, bacon grease and / or butter won't alter that fact, but it will make it taste nicer.

As the frogs say, Monte au Beurre.

i get the ghetto banquet potpies, so i top it with a slice of melted cheese (maybe pepperjack), and maybe stir in a dollop of sour cream and some pepper and green yucateco hot sauce.

>> No.15545257

Congrats on stopping the daily drinking op, proud of you. Also all you need is some hot sauce. If you can find pepper plant hot sauce then you are set

I've been crushing those fresh chicken pot pies from Whole Foods daily for like a month. Also just crack some black pepper over that shit, OP.
