Hello /ck/
For some reason, most of the time when I eat McDonald's, whether it's a cheeseburger, McDouble, or quarter pounder with cheese, I get a weird sensation in my ear. It's the same as when you're in an airplane and you have to swallow to pop your ears. It only happens when I eat McDonald's, maybe sometimes when I eat Culver's. Never anything home cooked or of better quality.
Does this happen to anyone else? Why does it happen? Is it some ingredient? The grease? I can't find anything about it online.

I have never heard this shit happening to anyone else, maybe you have very greasy ears

>> No.15527803

>>15527751

can be a sign of a very slight allergic reaction closing up the little ear tubes that connect to your throat. or the grease is colsing up those little openings temporarily. Throw some spicy shit in the mix and it should get those ear tubes opened.

go to the doctors for an apptment and you'll go "doc can you take a look at my ears" and he'll prob go "why there's nothing wrong here dear anon" and then you whip out a mcburger from your pocket, wolf it down, and go "check again"

>When mucus clogs the middle ear it affects that drainage. Pressure builds, which can lead to discomfort, popping in the ears or an earache.
>McDonald's Allergen Listing: Food Sensitives: Sulfite
>[In many countries it is illegal to] add sulfites to foods like fresh salads or fruit salads, or to meats like minced meat or sausage meat
>A small percentage of the population is sensitive to sulfites and may experience side effects like headaches, hives, swelling, stomach pain, and diarrhea
I think you solved it. Thanks anon.

There are high amounts of sulfites in other foods, try some of them and see what happens.

Update, just ate a few handfuls and got a little bit of pressure in my ear. But it might be all in my head so I'm going to eat more.

I eat these all the time, never experienced what you have, sorry bro. Maybe it's the salt? Try ordering it without salt. They are very accommodating where I am and let me customize my mcdoubles with different toppings.

Not a doctor though, just seems to be the most likely cause.

Anon, be careful. They are putting theragripper tech into your food. It enters and crawls up your ears, then seals itself onto the ear. Wash your ears quickly to rinse it off or you will turn into a mindless drone in about 2 or 3 more visits to MCdonalds. Cheers

Eh, weird stuff happens to me sometimes like this. One time I ate 3 donuts in under a minute with some orange juice and my ears were ringing like a siren was going off, having trouble finding out why. One time I ate roughly 100 pieces of sushi at an all you can eat place and my vision was weird for about 10 minutes, driving home was weird as I saw the painted lines on the road kind of merging into solid lines. I just take this as a lesson to not eat excessively or too fast.

It's probably how far and in what manner you open your mouth to eat a hamburger. You probably have a mild case of TMJ. Any dental issues with your molars? A sure sign, and no I'm not kidding in the least.

For me, it's the McChicken. The best fast food sandwich. I even ask for extra McChicken sauce packets and the staff is so friendly and more than willing to oblige.

One time I asked for McChicken sauce packets and they gave me three. I said, "Wow, three for free!" and the nice friendly McDonald's worker laughed and said, "I'm going to call you 3-for-free!".

Now the staff greets me with "hey it's 3-for-free!" and ALWAYS give me three packets. It's such a fun and cool atmosphere at my local McDonald's restaurant, I go there at least 3 times a week for lunch and a large iced coffee with milk instead of cream, 1-2 times for breakfast on the weekend, and maybe once for dinner when I'm in a rush but want a great meal that is affordable, fast, and can match my daily nutritional needs.

I even dip my fries in McChicken sauce, it's delicious! What a great restaurant.
