I know hot sauce is a /ck/ meme, but unironically what are your favorite sauces for buffalo wings? Need to get ready for the Super Bowl

franks buffalo is pretty damn good if you don't want to bother making your own buffalo sauce (even tho it's 2 ingredients and takes less than a minute to make).
I'm ashamed to say this but walmart great value buffalo is decent as well

>Franks hot sauce
>dabble of woosterishire sauce
>garlic powder
>sliced garlic in half
Put all of that in a saucepan for at least an hour to hydrate the garlic powder and infuse the sliced garlic into the franks. You can even warm it (but don't boil it'll split)
When you make your wings heat the sauce and mount in an equal amount of franks if it loses too much spicy heat sprinkle cayenne to adjust. If i'm doing boneless wings I like to also add a slurry of cornstarch for a thicker glaze. This will closely resemble Bw's Spicy garlic but it won't match the color. I've heard people add 1/2 an egg yolk for a more orange color.

while I make my own sauces too I unironically buy some BWW sauces, they're too damn good. For me, it's thai curry, spicy garlic, and blazin (haven't had the new one without ghost and with reaper kinda scared cause it's my favorite). occasionally mango habanero and jammin jalapeno, I'd say parmesan garlic but you can usually find a grocery brand one that tastes the same

LOL, Frank's with its 400 scoville units, is the weakest hot sauce on the market.
You want to get laughed at? Ridiculed? Tarred and feathered? Drawn and quartered?
Try pic related and avoid a horrible fate.

Medium, for me. It's got a lot of lemony flavor as well as fruity spicy peppers.

OP, just make a really good homemade one using Franks/Crystal/Tabasco.
Take several chopped garlic cloves in pan with cold butter, warm up and slowly simmer. Add your hot sauce, squeeze of fresh lemons or some flavorful vinegar, splash of worchestershire. Done. Feel free to add some sambal chile paste to add some more oomph, some parsley to garnish, or maybe some parm.

In processor, throghly blend some softened cream cheese, sour cream, and fold in some fresh crumbled gorgonzola or your favorite blue. Add some parsley and half a clove of minced garlic, grind of black pepper, maybe a bit of lemon zest. Drizzle in some milk til your favorite consistency, then chill for your dippin'

Each to their own. I reckon the flavour is way better on the hot. When I have the actual chicken I get extra hot because they've neutered the spice level on their bastings. The hot peri peri spice complements that lemon and herb base so well.

This right here. I use a dry rub before baking (must include cayenne and some baking powder, use imagination for the rest), then toss in a mixture of butter and hot sauce. Always serve with blue cheese dip. My family will summon free from another state just to make wings for them.
