This is why I support tipping culture. Women get tipped more than men, and cuties who can flash a smile on cue get tipped more than less attractive women, so men and unattractive women are less likely to stay in the job than the people who are frankly the only reason I bother going to restaurants.

Affirmative Action is unironically discrimination but no one cares. Even little things like places having "ladies drink/get in free" nights are, if we're being honest, textbook discrimination. No one cares. Why? Because most people have no sense of inner morality. They need society to dictate to them what is right and what is wrong. They can't figure it out on their own. That's why we still have people killing their unwanted children, genitally mutilating baby boys, and being cartoonishly racist to white people: because it's legal and most people around them say it's okay.

Is this guy some sleazebag creep? Maybe, but if we take the justification for tipping at face value then waiters provide a "dining experience" you can't get on your own, and if this man's going to pay anybody an exorbitant amount of money for walking a plate to his table he'd rather it be someone who'll smile and pretend to flirt with him and fool his sad, tired brain into feeling loved for half an hour.

She absolutely shouldn't and I clearly didn't say that. But she almost certainly WILL because that's simply how waitressing works. Some lonely boomer comes in, you make some harmless flirty small talk while refilling his drink, you get a big tip, he gets to feel like he's still got it for an hour. That's the basic premise of the whole tipping experience.

I hate when I get a male waiter. I don't like being served by men. Bartenders I prefer to be men because they mix better drinks. I like my food cooked by male chefs. I don't want a male stewardess or nurse either.

A few things you could try in the future:
>Just ask for someone different to take your order. Don't specify gender.
>When you get a waitress you like, learn her name and remember her. Then ask for her in the future.
