Wontons/gyoza

A pack of wonton wrappers is dirt cheap as is some scallion and ginger. Make a fuckload of them as they freeze nicely and now you have dumplings/wonton soup ready in minutes.

I just mixed ground lamb into a rather weak lobster and corn chowder, and it improved it immensely. Bonus points if you get it thick enough to use pierogies like tortilla chips to eat it. You could do the same thing.

Could make a layered taco bake. Refried beans, corn, salsa, peppers, rice, guac, or whatever you want. Get a few tortillas and layer that shit up in a 12 inch round dish or pan. Cover with cheese and red sauce. Have some cold sour cream on the side for dipping.

Ginger, garlic, lemon juice, soy sauce, sugar and a little chicken stock. Cook the pork with afotementioned until a thick sauce develops. Put it over rice. Add veg if desired.
