why is every whole foods location miserable to shop in?

That's what I used Whole Foods for before the pandemic. They had a $9/lb hot bar that had decent food and actually good healthy options, like that's a hard deal to beat.
>>15466162
OP is right though, the Whole Foods experience kinda sucks because of the customers who shop there, not the staff or anything else about the store. Like, everyone that shops there are like some kind of highly anxious, neurotic, PTSD, psychiatrist prescribed pill junkie. More often than not I see a middle aged MILF day drinking at the bar during my lunch

All Whole Foods are miserable to shop in because the company was bought out by Amazon who demanded that all locations nationwide be the same. This meant removing things that made each location unique and worth going to such as hot food bars, butchers and fish counters.

Because it's pretentious.
The best places to shop are the middleground where they're not full of cheap ass frozen garbage, but not pretentious enough to serve soy avocado smoothies.

This and Whole Foods along with trader Joe's have driven all of the other higher end grocery stores out of my area. I guess they all compete for the same asshole shoppers.

FPBP. The only people Whole Foods appeals to are wealthy white faggots who put up those self-righteous """IN THIS HOUSE WE LOVE NIGGERS AND SPICS""" signs in their front yards. Their entire being is centered around moral superiority to fill the aching spiritual void in their secular privileged existence.

And they end up just blocking your way and either get social anxiety or in a huff when you try and get by them and they really just slow you down
Also the questions they ask and the conversations they have ate annoying to hear.

They do have really good bread though
Very expensive considering it's bread but it's pretty good if I don't have time to bake my own.

Matt and Trey knew what they were doing with the Whole Foods shit.
My town has two areas where one of them was known as the shit part of town full of poor people and druggie high schoolers who commit some form of arson every 5+ years
A Whole Foods opened there 2 years ago completely out of nowhere and they're in the process of fucking remodeling everything around that area to be like Sodosopa with the fancy bars and restaurants it's so bizarre. Only thing that's missing is "The Lofts" and "The Residences" but I feel like that's only a matter of time
