/ck/ does your town have charm? Does it contain a special watering hole/eatery that you hold dear to your heart? Stories? Menu? Regulars? I'm interested in hearing all about them. Pic related, a goofy bar and grill in the 661 of California. My wife and I would come here every Friday night to drink and eat and Saturday mornings for Bloody Marys for our hangovers. They're currently open to dine in because fuck the China flu. Come for the beer, stay for the Baja sauce on everything.

My city has very shitty food options. Mostly just fast food on every corner or a burger joint who thinks im going to spend 40 dollars on their shit food.

There was a slow in the mind who worked at a dive I frequented like 10 years ago. On busy nights he would get slammed waiting booths and you could trick him into giving free drinks by immediately pounding down the drink you ordered and then leaving the empty glass on a nearby table. When he would walk by a minute later it was “How’s that drink coming”? and he would mutter and mumble apologies and bring you another drink. The ol’ 2 for 1 retard special. Poor guy must have been related to the owners because they didn’t fire him after months of people doing that. They just relegated him to bussing.
