Remember when McDonald's had spicy nuggets on their menu for like a week?
Did anyone actually get to try them. Both times I tried to order them they were sold out or didn't have them.

They're advertised here in Germany, but I don't eat occupier food

But yeah I tried them a few times. Bretty gud, but I still have no idea why they just flatout removed them so suddenly and never mentioned them again.

Apparently it was always going to be a limited release, but they totally undershot their estimates and what was going to be a month-long promotion only lasted about a week before they ran out.

The fact that the demiurge believes that it's ok to terrorize me for eating cheddar jalapeno cheetos is explicit, irrefutable proof of his ongoing malice and evil. There's no "misremembering" something that's happening right now, he can't use the passage of time to obfuscate things here. This is something that is happening right now. And when I make posts challenging him he just doubles down. Because I make this post he will make even more threads, probably with even more aggressive, insulting content, trying to justify why it's ok for him to terrorize me for liking cheddar jalapeno cheetos.

The fact that he can make these threads every day, then make other threads and posts denying his malice towards me, or his evil nature, WHILE HE"S STILL DOING THIS is a complete joke and provides evidence not only of his malice but of his delusional, lying, reality denying behavior as well.

The demiurge is completely evil and the fact that he thinks he can terrorize me for liking a certain type of cheetos is objective proof of this.

The nuggets thenselves where meh. But the sauce was fucking awesome. It was like soy sauce with thickeners and a spoonful of crushed red pepper flakes on top.

Have you tried switching to flaming hot cheetos? They're still spicy and maybe the demiurge will like them more than the cheddar jalapeño

had them a couple of times, they were alright but Wendy's Spicy nuggets are 90% the same and much easier to acquire.

biggest letdown was every time i got some they were out of that spicy sauce you were supposed to get them with so i felt like i wasnt getting the full nugget experience.

The special hot sauce they had for these were based. I'm more upset they didn't keep them as a sauce option.

Yeah they were fucking shit. The absolute bare minimum of any spice, borderline tasteless. Clearly because normies can’t handle anything spicier than salt and pepper.

I actually did manage to try them, they had a deal on the app.
to be honest they were really pretty good. mcnuggets are classic and BK+wendy's nuggets have always been mediocre at best. they really did taste like mcnuggets, but with that kind of slow-build dry-heat spice, more on the back end of the bite, not quite an "aftertaste", if I'm making sense.
They weren't 5-alarm or anything, but I was actually pleasantly surprised that they had some proper heat, subtle enough to not overwhelm the tastebuds but definitely spicy enough to not be ignored. Delicate balance that many fastfood places struggle to hit quite right. They were good!
Not surprised they didn't stick around, but shocked at just how fast they were gone. McDick's isn't usually the brand to be so openly experimental.

I have a hard time believing they had any real spice. And I’m not a hot sauce faggot, I hate most hot sauces. But fast food places never have truly spicy food outside of KFC’s Nashville hot chicken, which was not as hot as real Nashville hot chicken but it was respectably spicy. I think QSR’s are afraid they’ll certainly get a class action lawsuit from a bunch of Karen’s who ordered the spicy sandwich and it was TOO SPICE for them and almost killed them or something ridiculous like that.

I worked at McD's when we had those last year, they were an unmitigated disaster.
>customers mad that the $3 bundle didn't cover the spicy 6-piece
>spicy nuggets dry out EXTREMELY fast compared to regular nuggets, basically inedible if you let them sit for 30 minutes
>managers didn't want us to drop too many spicy nuggets because of the above but at the same time people would order 40-60 nuggets so you would constantly need to drop more

They were so popular that McDonald’s ran through their one month supply of spicy chicken nuggets in just under two weeks. When McDonald’s can secure the necessary chicken to meet the demand for spicy nuggets they will bring them back

And to answer OP’s question, they were fire, especially when paired with some sweet and sour sauce.

I was at a bar talking with a drunk McDonalds operations guy and he was talking about how meme foods can cause supply chain shocks. They look very carefully at supply and sometimes their worst problem is success, as it rapidly exhausts supply. This is part of the reason for their cautious regional rollouts, to ensure availability. Think about how bad Popeyes fucked themselves when they stumbled on to the perfect meme sandwich (wait 15 min, lol sorry no sando) with no planning.

I ordered them through their app like a full week before they were even officially released. The workers were like what the fuck did this kid order when I went to go pick up my order. They got them out to me and gave me 4 of their spicy sauces. The nuggets on their own are decent but not too spicy. The sauce on the other hand is basically like tabasco sauce but sweeter and thicker and noticeably spicy. I would get them all the time over the regular mcnuggets but alas....
