what do i eat this with? i tried it with bagels and cream cheese and sweet bread from paris baguette, but the slightly sharp sour after-taste just doesnt belong.

Oh my god, Torfolk lingonsylt (lingonberry) almost as good as home cooked.

I eat it for almost anything, the perfect balance between sweet and bitter.

My top ten (3 list) is

- lingonberry the old way (no additives like apples)

- blueberry the old way (no additive shit).

- cloudberries, you add additives to that taste, it unique.

Lingon, blåbär, hjortron (lingonberry, blueberry, cloudberry) the arctic berries :D

Great job anon, here's your reddit silver

While I can't vouch for Ikeas stuff since I haven't tried it, a lot of brands add too much sugar for my tastes which fucks with the sour tangyness. Something to keep in mind when using them.

Anyway, this anon knows >>15435476, throw in some thin dill pickles and brown sauce. (If you don't have any beef stock on hand, use the deglazed pan drippings from the meatballs you've made instead, it makes a phenomenal sauce.)

Most other suggestions are good too.

If you are feeling adventurous, it also pairs very well with Swedish style Black pudding but that might be hard to get your hands on depending on where you live.
