I made some buttered noodles tonight.
We need to help some mother fuckers here cook. I keep seeing some poor ass threads.

This is a stupid question thread, ask anything you want about food that you can't figure out.

Hate to break it to you anon, but overcooking spagetti with butter doesn't do much for your authority on culinary matters

I wasn't saying that. This is just something simple. That's it. Also, it's not overcooked. Google "buttered noodles." you're just making another sauce and adding shit to it to make it taste like butter and whatever. Butter is just the main ingredient. I never said I was the authority on culinary matters. This is a stupid question thread, meaning, asking something and others will chime in. If I happen to know the answer, I'll chime in. You don't go outside of /ck/ a lot do you anon...

Anyone know what this fucking knife is or who made it? No stamp or etch left on it that I can find. Bought a pile of old tools and this was in the bottom. Someone else did the cleanup job but, based on the pitting, it was bad.

It is just under 19 inches from tip to base. The blade is 13 inches. Heavy as shit and the back of the blade is quite thick for a kitchen knife.

The handle is brass and whatever this stuff is. Some early type of plastic/Bakelite? I've never seen a knife with 4 rivets like this. Full tang also.

As much shit as I'll catch for suggesting this, reddit actually has a r/bladesmithing forum. Forget the exact name, but it's something like that. They're usually pretty good at specific questions like that.
