You know it. Rarely. Shit just doesn't last long. As I said, I havent been out lately. Also yes I do live with a fallout shelter reinforced concrete but it's a mess now so I kept certain stuff out. But yeah.... canned primarily. Fresh as a treat. Also have three deep chest freezers.

>> No.15376835

>>15376817
I agree it doesn't last long but if you're buying appropriately you can make meals and use your ingredients in a timely manner before they spoil. I have nothing against canned goods because there's a lot of canned product which is actually better than fresh, but it seems like a lot. Are you staying in because of Covid and the current global climate? I live in Toronto which is a hot spot but I still get out and buy groceries and shit. I fuck with the 3 deep chest freezers though I wish I could even have one and just slam that bitch full of meat.

>> No.15376852

Nah, I go out to bars all the time. Also hiking round the states. I have a shit ton of liquor. That will last forever. Probably over 150 bottles from all around the world in my travels. Covid only messed with things around here in April to May then for two weeks in November. Things are pretty much like normal now. I actually just had frozen corn on the cob I shucked not long ago from harvest time in Sept.

>> No.15376859

Ah man I miss going out to bars so fucking much. As soon as things are open again I'm going on a week bender. Liquor stash is always great to have but glad to hear you're dealing with shit with basically no lifestyle changes. Meat in Canada is insanely expensive. And yea red green is based af. I'll admit living by myself I've taught myself to freeze like at least 75% of my product for later.

Lucky I live somewhere where our local government realizes that all they are really supposed to do is put out informed guidelines and let people do what they want. Though they briefly caved back when everyone else in the country did.

Yeah, red green actually toured a year or two ago and came to my obscure town. It was just a single man standup thing in character.
