Pasta aglio e olio is a great base recipe to start with because you can just add things to it depending on needs. Throw some green vegetables in and you've got some vitamins, crack a tin of salmon/deens/tuna etc in and you've got protein for cheap.

If you absolutely just need to put something in your stomach, cook some pasta, drain, pour some soy-sauce in the pot (enough to flavour, you're not making a soy soup) and fry that quickly. It's tasty and you can eat a load of it. You can add things to it to evolve the flavour, eg butter, tobasco, pepper etc.

I think the key to bachelor recipes is a broad set of spices and having a cheap protein you enjoy eg canned tuna. There's nothing nutritionally wrong with frozen vegetables, although some freeze better than others.

>boil 2 cups of rice with 4 cups of water. Add a teaspoon of salt to the pot. It will take about 20 minutes. Don't burn the rice!

>while the rice is cooking brown a half a pound of ground beef

>Season the ground beef with whatever you have on hand

>Scoop half onto a plate and the other half into a glass (no xenoesteogens) tupperware and put it into the fridge for tomorrow. It will be a sizeable plate. You could split into 3 days if you're not a big eater

>Optional: put some cheese on top

>Optional: mix some veggies in with the rice

>Optional: crack two eggs into the beef for extra brotein

>A packet of thin noodles, like in pic related
>A packet of stock cubes
>Total: barely 2 euros
Each cube has half a cup of soup in it, noodles fill you up. You can have a soup dinner for less than 20 c., and if you're feeling fancy you can poach either some onion or an egg.

I don't recommend doing it daily, because sodium, but once in a while it's like heaven in a mug. Easy, very cheap dinner for whenever you don't feel like cooking. Better than ramen, and it actually tastes better.

This is the recipe for my favorite food, it's not super fancy but it's got easy, pre-prepared ingredients and you only really need a pot and a wooden spoon.

>one cup of arborio rice, unwashed
>one packet of cream of mushroom flavor instant soup
>a teaspoon of black pepper
>four cups of water
>a big chunk butter
>a big chunk of cream cheese
>optional small chunk of blue cheese
>two skinless hotdogs cut into small chunks
Boil that shit in a big pot with no lid, occasionally stirring so it doesnt stick,
until the rice is fully cooked and any remaining liquid has reduced to a thick sauce.

Microwave quiche. Thaw out some frozen spinach, squeeze out the liquid. Add spinack to one egg, and 1/3 cup milk and cheddar. Beat it all. Microwave for about 3 mins until done. Salt and pepper to taste.
