Two net carbs. They use funny math to get it down to two. Franz bread makes a keto loaf. Each slice has 12 carbs, and 12 fibre units. One theoretically cancels the other out. It's a trick of sorts.

Franz Standard white bread has 15 carbs, but zero fibre. Their whole wheat Honey Oat and Nut has 20 carbs, 2 fiber.

No, that's not how it works. On nutrition labels, fiber IS A CARB, so the way you should read that is "each slice has 12 carbs, OF WHICH 12 ARE FIBER." Fiber is listed under the "carbohydrates" heading but does not get metabolized or affect your blood sugar or insulin response, so it doesn't really count. But you have to be careful, SOME nutrition labels list fiber separately and in that case you CANNOT subtract the fiber from the carbs, only if they're actually grouped together.

It actually tastes fine. The weirdest thing is the texture. It's really "airy" not chewy like a good bread, and kind of does a cotton candy dissolve away sort of thing. It's still good though, for a nice snack.
