I can't go beyond 72% and honestly feel like I enjoy it more than less dark variants. I think 72% is the sweet spot, with some salt and a nice dry red wine.

I went the "im a grown up so I have to eat bitter chocolate" route as well but luckily I managed to snap out of it when I was about to spend 50 euros on 100 grams of chocolate. I realized that when I wanted to eat chocolate I wanted a nice little treat, not something that I obsess about and chase the next 'better thing'. Now once in a while when I feel like it I just eat some decent milk chocolate that can be bought in any super market.

Eating less sweet products doesn't make you a grown up, quite the opposite, it makes you look like a small kid trying its hardest to be an adult.

also this, just eat what you like most. I like dark chocolate more for the more pronounced cocoa flavor but the 90%+ cacao bitter bombs remind me of quadruple imperial IPAs, just bitter for bitter's sake.
