Nigger Taco Bell has been pulling this menu bullshit for years. They always reduce and cut items from their menu and then add them back later as a publicity stunt, this isn't even counting their "limited time only" items like the nacho fries and triple-stack.

The menu changes were decided on by a board of executives that have extensive knowledge of statistics, economics, and how to turn a profit, I don't know why some fat alcoholics on a Butanese yak herding website thought they knew better than them and "b-but I like the quesarito" was a more sound argument for the sake of profits than theirs

Fast food companies are chronically mismanaged and have been growing under expected performance for years. They got a huge leg-up due to corona shutting down so many local places, but they're underperforming heavily with key youth demos and menu bloat+unwillingness to pay managers enough money is making service shit and eating into their consumer base.

Though, desu, tbell removing all that shit was a great move. Quality and consistency improves when menu complexity declines.
