i can have every light in my house respond to music so yes and i've thrown some great parties. they are also great for holidays like Halloween so i can make my entire house purples, reds and oranges. i also use them to come on and off on a randomized schedule when i'm out of town but of course i don't use the color features for that. i also will keep them set to red and at a low power for when i'm using my telescope in my backyard and need to go inside the house without fucking up my night vision.

Mine used to be relegated to the shelf below the countertop on a stand-alone kitchen rack I bought to compensate for lack of counter space in a shitty rental I was living in. Having to bend down to use the microwave once a week or so really isn't that big a deal.
