And the reason I don't any more is that he fell for the celebrity meme of thinking his viewers gave a shit about him, rather than the cooking content. I don't give a shit whether or not he's reddit or soy, I am just annoyed that he decided people were interested in knowing anything about him, rather than watching food getting cooked.
The videos have also become less well shot since he took the focus off the food and put it on him and his guest chefs, too.

I don't. His videos are a gimmick where he follows trends to get views. "Hey, spongebob memes are popular, so i'll make krabby patty!" Problem is, he doesn't actually make a krabby patty, he just makes a hamburger (usually in an overly complicated way). Otherwise, the dishes are so simple that he can't make a 10 minute video out of it, so he'll make "his own version" just to pad out the video, like in the "ram-don" video for Parasite where it literally takes him a minute to make the dish (because it's a simple dish) so he had to pad out the video with all this bullshit just to stretch it out to 10 minutes.
He's pretty much the quintessential "content creator" and everything wrong with Youtube.
