i drink bottled or soft water out of the tap about 300 some ppm I forget the ec and ph but it's good and when run through a carbon filter it's just higher end of the 200 range, my favorite water I've ever had was in the local county correctional facility, i use carbon filtered hard water for hydroponics which starts off in the 400 some ppm range and the same carbon filter I mentioned before brings it down into the lower 200 ppm range with a 6.5 ph and I forget the ec but it's good

Ive got a great spring on my property and we are going to fix it up a bit to drink from there.
For now we collect water from a dehumidifier in the basement and put it through a filter.
The tap water from the well is fucking nasty

You shouldn't do this unless it's a good filter, not some cheap brita

Will do. I can also confirm the spring water is drinkable. It's beautiful. Pic semi related, it's a creek that runs off the spring (I wouldn't drink this though)

Picrel is my daily driver, very easy to disassemble and clean the gunk out of the valve. Doesn't spill so it is idiot-proof and good for sports. Had mine for 3-4 years at least and still runs well.
I just drink tap water, where I live in Europe, we don't really have much of a problem with potability.

yeah i refill the container once or twice a mouth, we just have really shit water in FL unless you get a spring, depending how deep you dig your well you'll either get sulfur fart water or you get iron mineral water that smells and tastes like a bucket of rusty nails and to make it even worse the pH is 4.7 and rusts everything it touches
