Anyone here into food photography? I've asked a few times on /p/ but no one seems to give a shit about it there. Figured I'd try here. Anyone wanna share some photos?

most food photography is best done with natural light and the light coming from the top of the photo. I have your same issue that I can't just open a window because I don't have good south facing lighting unless I go upstairs and set things up in my bedroom. you can buy natural light bulbs and diffusers for cheap. I was thinking of buying a couple to give it a shot

Kind of, but I'm not so picky about it. I just like to try taking decent shots to remind me of the time /place / etc
This I ate a week or two into 2019, in Fujieda around 8am. Fujieda has a tradition of breakfast ramen.
After I ate, I walked for several hours back to my apartment in Shizuoka a few towns away. I really enjoyed it.

i took some pictures of a peanut butter and jelly sandwich for a photography class project in my senior year. my friend made the jelly out of fruit she found by the dumpster at aldis lol. it's still very good though.
