Go to the grocery store and get a few whole roast chickens. Cut off the meat like pulled pork or use a blender. Mix it with some ranch and srirachi. Serve in an aluminum tray with tortilla chips to dip

What kind of setting are we talking about? I wouldn't serve that because most people are philistines with the palates of little children, so brussel sprouts are kind of a risk.

So it's an actual dinner party? Seated dinner party? If not, I would go for something that is more snack food.
In case of a seated dinner party, just do whatever dish you think is comfy.

I am autistic but that's besides the point. I always loved brussel sprouts the most out of any vegetable, with good seasoning and baking you can't go wrong.

Something I dislike about office parties is that people do not make food easily accessible.
>pie isn't cut into slices
>noodles without proper utensils
>bread isn't cut
>vegetables too big/long
>food too slippery or round
Brussel sprouts are the perfect size, texture, and weight for accessibility. It is incredibly easy to spoon up a serving of brussel sprouts onto your plate without them flying away. A lot of people are probably going to bring the potatoes, meat, dip etc. But someone needs to bring the vegetables. Green beans? Who isn't sick of them. I also would do stuffed mushrooms but often people say they hate....the best fungus on the planet.

It could be anywhere from 40-70 people. Since a lot of food goes uneaten at these type of parties, I don't plan on making a lot.

Brussels sprouts have that meme reputation for being inedible. You might get a couple people who know they're great roasted, but you basically have to sell them by goading other people into trying things they think they hate.

You know anon, I thought about it and you shouldn't give into the philistines. If you want brussel sprouts, make them. Then there is at least one dish you like eating. If they don't want to try it, well fuck them.

Enough with the buzzwords, faggot.
The meme lives on. I know people who outright refuse to eat the shit even when it's cooked properly. That said, I grew up on my grandma's boiled tinned sprouts and loved that musty crap. My sis hated them, and to this date I've never convinced her to eat them.
