Battle of the gravied breaded meat dishes. Make your choice.

Hard one but probably Chicken Parm.

Country fried steak with hashbrowns and biscuits.

>> No.15232112

I thought chicken parm was boring. But that was when I only had it from Oliver Garden, etc. Then I found this hole in the wall and it was a brand new marriage.

Chicken parm was my absolute favorite as a kid, but over time, I have come to acknowledge the superior chicken fried steak.

BASED. Don't forget the sunny side up eggs and the rye toast.

I almost just hopped out of my bed and went to IHOP on impulse.

Support local diners, not chains.

>> No.15232185

chicken fried steak, it has more flavor, more texture and the sides are more savory. With chicken parm you can really only enjoy the pasta with it, not green beans or corn like you can with fried steak.

>nooooooo you have to eat the locally bought frozen dogshit and poorly cooked eggs, not the same exact chain-distributed frozen dogshit and slightly worse cooked eggs!!!
The absolute state of American "cuisine"

I own and run a diner, I get all my meat from a local butcher, grind my own meat for burgers, and clobber and bread all of the CFS myself. I also get my eggs from a local chicken farm, and I can cook them any way you want, and perfectly. IHOP can't even compare to how I do diner grub.

I will now eat at your restaurant.

I used to go to a restaurant and get the Rahm Schnitzel when I lived in Germany. God tier.

Now that's a proper diner.
If I was in your area, I'd be a regular.
(I assume I'm not because the diners near me are pretty skeevy joints and their food isn't good enough to suggest they're run by people who care about the quality of their dishes that much)

Chicken fried steak just makes more sense. It's meat gravy on meat. Chicken parm just feels like you're eating spaghetti and some breaded chicken.

Schnitzel is the superivr breaded pork meal, though.

I'm going to have to go with the chicken fried steak made from ground beef with white peppered gravy.

I know this may come as a shock to you, but despite what reddit and funny tv man have said not all restaurants are using prepackaged Sysco food.
