What foods are acceptable to have with ketchup?

For me it's burgers, hot dogs, french fries and scrambled eggs. I gave steak a try a few times and from well done skirt steak to medium rare ribeye I don't think I can condone ketchup on steak.

I have had ketchup on tendies before now as well but I think I'm more of a honey mustard/bbq sauce/ chick-fil-a sauce guy on that one.

Ketchup is not an abomination. It is a tomato and vinegar sauce, often sweetened with sugar. So the answer is any foods acceptable with a red sauce.

Ketchup gets a bad rep because people think dirt cheap means ketchup.

I agree. Most people who consider themselves sophisticated taste with their wallet. I would put cheap condiments on par with cheap foods. Most of them are delicious all the same.

Meatloaf for sure. With fries, a few dashes of malt vinegar is pretty good.

Ranch ain't half bad either. The problem with tendie dipping is that regardless of what you pick, you get kind of tired of it after half a dozen bites. I think the best duo of sauces might be ketchup and honey mustard

I don't know if I would count that as ketchup in the traditional sense. I normally add ketchup as a topping prior to baking. It's not really a dipping sauce.

I really wanted to like fish and chips with malt vinegar but I think I prefer ketchup. Tartar sauce is best with east coast whitefish but I'd still prefer ketchup to plain vinegar with fried cod/fluke/pollack with french fries for me.

Anyhow, I'd just like to say that whatever your preference towards the application of ketchup, fuck niggers fuck kikes and fuck jannies.

substandard fish
failed lasagna
lackluster fries
fucked up steak

disappointing meatloaf

...you get the gist. Ketchup will make everything palatable. The problem is, if you take the most delicious, most wonderful dish on Earth, and add ketchup, it will make it palatable.
