Almost everyone does this.

I say almost everyone because my parents don't. They seemed utterly baffled that I made garlic bread to go with my mom's pea soup but they liked the garlic bread.

btw, the pea soup is just Campbell's dumped on top of fried up kielbasa and sautéed onions. It's good this time of year.
