Am I an alcoholic? Usually don’t drink except around holidays but because of COVID I’ve basically been drinking somewhere around 2-3 days every week. This thanksgiving with my family I was basically on a binge and I decided afterwards to take the month of December off from it. I’ve gone the past 8 days dry with no real critical side effects. Though for the past couple of days I’ve developed a real thirst and pining for alcohol

I think I messed up one friendship. On a trip down to a friends beach house me and that friend got really fucked up and I guess I annoyed him and his gf because I was barking like a dog for a little while. Anyway next day we go to get more alcohol and him and his fat pig of a gf start screaming at me telling me how annoying I am and then calling me a faggot but like not in a fun way at all, completely different from their normal demeanor. I felt completely disrespected and was pissed. Anyway I chose to spend the rest of the weekend sober internally stewing with anger or else risk getting to fucked up and trying to beat the shit out of him. I’m planning to never talk to him again, already been about a month.
