Do yall niggers not have Captain D's? I'm pretty sure they are more expensive, but they are way better. They are kinda weird here. Not quite fast food, not quite sit down, kind of like a precursor to the "fast casual" we have today but different.

Came here to post this. Captain D's absolutely mogs LJS. When I was younger I remember really liking LJS and eating it often with my family. But when I had it recently it was bad. Two years ago I ordered some long johns to eat with friends and it was terrible. I think the problem was I ate it after it got cold so I could actually taste how bad it was without the warmth masking the flavor. Never eaten it since.

But when I was in late high school my mom got a job that had a Captain D's right near it, and she'd often get us food from there after work. Man nothing beats D's. I haven't had it in years though since my mom quit that job. There's just not one near enough to me. But I'll always remember it as the superior fast food fish place. Black people seem to really like it since I've only seen it in poorer neighborhoods and the employees are always black. Despite that most of the other customers are old white people. Interesting mix considering it's not super popular. It would be interesting to get a demographic breakdown of customers and employees at varying fast food places

Slaw looks decent, which is as good as it gets for fast food

The one thing I've learned about slaw is that you can't judge them on looks. Some great looking slaws taste like shit, and some veggie sloppas are amazing.
