Why would you ever get an appetizer with your Chinese food when you could just get a bowl of tasty noodles for the same price?

Do you support a federal law outlawing discrimination on the basis of sexual orientation in restaurants and other businesses that serve food?

How do you get that kind of oily "mouthfeel" (yeah i know its gay but idk what other term to use) that restaurant lo mein has? Adding more oil didn't work nor did using some sesame oil at the end.

It's a combination of oil, the soy sauce and other seasonings they use to flavor, and a little stock or broth (this is key). When combined with the starch from the noodles and flipflopped together it almost turns into an emulsion.

Though the flavors are different, it's kind of the same effect you're going for as when you make something like aglio e olio or cacio e pepe.
