They are only acceptable as part of a sauce or diced and mixed in with other ingredients as to mask the bland, bitter, watery non-flavor of this inbred fecalith of a vegetable

There is nothing more abominable that putting a watery flavorless booger slice on a sandwich, or god help you eating one of these pieces of SHIT on its own

There is a reason civilized people mush them up into an unrecognizable paste before using them in cuisine as that is all they deserve and the only way to stomach such a shameful object

This is the standard response to all tomato complaints, but so what? Vastly more people eat the mass produced shipped around the globe year round tomatoes than get to eat them fresh off the vine from the family farm. Every food in existence is great if you get the highest-quality-possible version of it. But most foods have the decency to still be edible if you don't.
