I like saying that just because it's flippant. But in all seriousness alcohol in general takes some time getting used to, and some people don't like certain kinds. Nothing wrong with not liking beer and liking something else, I personally can't stand whiskey but I love tequila. Someone not liking alcohol in general though because 'it tastes bad' is annoying to me. Yes, it tastes bad to everyone, and tastes a little better once you're used to it. Plus getting drunk is fun.

I still end up hanging out with people who drink shit like Coors Lite, but at this point in my life it's pretty easy to avoid social situations that revolve around watching a fucking football game.
