eggs are the easiest fucking thing in the world to cook. you can make them in an oven. there's one company that brags their saucepans seal themselves with water vapor and kind of steam/bake and you can literally just throw hardshell eggs in one of their pans with a lid and the vapor from the eggs will seal it up and they cook. I haven't tried cooking eggs dry in a pan myself but I imagine I could pull it off if I added a bit of water.

Honestly, I'd rather have a pan and never be able to use a pot than have a pot that I have to use as a pan. It's a hundred times more annoying but I use a pan ten times more often than a pot.
